Series Brief Review
Yukio (nicknamed Koyuki) is an ordinary boy fond of a JPop artist. In a lucky period of his life he reacquaints with a childhood friend, Izumi, and meets Ryusuke, a musician connected to Dying Breed, the very popular American band. Through Izumi and Ryusuke, Yukio comes into the world of rock music and becomes a fan of the Dying Breed to start a musical career. His guitar successes and incredible voice earn him a spot in Ryusuke's band, Beck. Together with Chiba (vocals), Saku (drums), Taira (bass) and Ryusuke (lead guitar), Koyuki begins a life filled with laughter, anger, love, mystery, as Beck aspires for "the greatest band".
Beck Manga is a story about excentric and odd still ordinary people not expecting miracles in life. The plot develops around the Beck band – fitting characters, defining the line-up, people’s sneers and disrespect, gradual professional growth and cooler places to play.
